Insular Foundation supports ALS-CLC

In partnership with the Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation (CLFI) and the Department of Education (DepEd), the Insular Foundation recently donated information and communication technology equipment to the Tankulan Alternative Learning System-Community Learning Center (ALS-CLC) to Manolo Fortich, his first adopted center. in Mindanao and fourth nationwide.

Scholarship program now in its 3rd year

The BPI Foundation, the social development arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), is seeking a new group of scholars for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The BPI Pagpupugay program aims to support close relatives of frontline doctors who have contracted COVID-19 or died in the line of duty during the pandemic.

“Pagpupugay” is a five-year scholarship program with an initial fund of 1 million pesos per academic year. Five fellows were chosen in 2020 while 10 fellows were added in 2021, to be assessed for annual renewal. For the 2022-2023 academic year, eight additional scholarship recipients will be selected. Each scholar will receive a maximum of P100,000 scholarship funds per academic year to cover tuition fees and miscellaneous expenses.
