Kongsberg’s online store speeds up replacement of consumables


The maker of digital cutting solutions for the global packaging, signage, display and manufacturing markets has unveiled a new online store to make it faster and easier to order replacement consumables.

“One of our main goals is to achieve best-in-class performance for our customer service,” said Stuart Fox, president and CEO of Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (Kongsberg PCS).

“Since our launch as a stand-alone business, we have worked hard to ensure that we have the best people, processes and programs in place to help us achieve this goal. The new cloud-based consumables platform, store.kongsbergsystems.com, is powered by Salesforce B2B, helping to increase Kongsberg PCS’s response times and minimize delays.

“The system also addresses one of our most common customer requests, allowing multiple groups of accounts to be managed by a single buyer,” Fox said. “There are also how-to videos, tip guides, and additional features to enable one-click re-ordering, as well as easy access to a customer’s order history and information about their installed products. .

“All of this, coupled with improved methods of finding bits, blades or other individual consumables, means that our customers can now enjoy a much simpler and therefore faster ordering experience, ensuring their purchases are ordered and shipped immediately.
