Interview with Zoe de Givenchy, the collector behind the ZdG online store

0

JFor those with a soft spot for French and Italian craftsmanship, it’s better to avoid ZdG, the online store founded by Zoë de Givenchy. Ceramics, linens, cutlery, cachepots and apothecary jars are just a few of the items she buys (often in limited editions) from small manufacturers. De Givenchy (whose late uncle was the well-known couturier) now lives between France, Los Angeles and the Bahamas, and his flair for transcontinental entertainment has made ZdG particularly useful as a purveyor of gifts. As the holiday shopping season approaches, she shares her key elements of the good life. —Ashley Baker
