COVENTRY City’s retail partner, Elite Sports Group, has gone into administration with ‘urgent discussions’ underway regarding the current situation with the club shop and online store.
The club is working with interested parties to ensure that the club shop and online store can reopen as soon as possible with timely updated fans.
Supporters could lose payments made for any unfulfilled orders following the administration of Elite Sports Group, which has also affected other clubs.
A statement from the club read: “Coventry City are in urgent discussions regarding the current situation with the club shop and the online shop.
“This follows the club being made aware that its retail partner Elite Sports Group has entered administration which has affected us and a number of other clubs they work with.
“Coventry City are working with interested parties to open club shops and the online store as soon as possible, and we will update fans as soon as possible about this.
“We are in discussions regarding orders that have been placed in the last few days that have not yet been fulfilled. We are speaking directly with the fulfillment warehouse to get clarification on orders that may be affected, and will provide a new update shortly.
“The club shop at the Coventry Building Society Arena and West Orchards remains closed – the arena ticket office is operated by Coventry City and remains open. Due to the current situation affecting the club shop, the ticket office is temporarily operating from the matchday ticket collection window.
