Police said they were investigating the matter and had arrested a 33-year-old woman in connection with the matter.

Apparently more victims are now coming forward to make similar claims. They said ST that they paid the company but did not receive the goods.

The business, which started in 2012 according to its website, is registered under the name of an Indonesian woman.

The site that manages the online store has been removed. The physical store is in Novena Regency on Thomson Road and it has rarely opened in recent months, neighboring stores said.

The alleged victims said that when they contacted WestCloset for refunds, the store said it was having financial problems and the boss was hospitalized.
